Keith and I wanted to thank you
for the terrific job you did on
our major remodel. We’ve been through several
previous remodels with other contractors; we both agree that this
went the smoothest of all, and we are extremely happy with the
results. Our neighbors have voiced their approval as well.
We appreciate the help you
provided beginning with the design stage, by recommending Wally,
who did an excellent job of drawing up our plans quite
reasonably. You took his good work a step further, when, knowing
even more specifically what we wanted, you were able to improve
on the plans in a few areas. We particularly like the openness of
the back patio and the way you integrated the existing playroom
with the addition to it. We went through a previous design phase
with someone else, and we prefer the way you worked with what we
had and how we live to come up with a design that better suits
our lives. Now that it’s complete, the areas we added look
like they were always part of the house. It’s our house,
just much much better.
Your subcontractors obviously knew
their stuff, from the demo-man, to the roofer, to the framer and
patio paver, to the concrete mason, and the electrician. It was
intriguing working with your crew through the various challenges
that crop up on any job and having them handled professionally
and without automatic requests for more money.
Everyone on the job was pleasant
and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. We also
appreciated the way you paid attention even to the final details,
a rarity among contractors. It was a pleasure working with you
and I look forward to our next project together. Garage,
anyone?

We have now lived with our addition/renovation for
seven months, and I can't tell you how pleased we are. We enjoy
waking up in the morning on the weekend, rolling up the shade on
our bedroom's french door, climbing back in bed and watching the
birds feed right outside the door, and getting a nice breeze as
well!
We love the wood floor, warm stained doors throughout, and
above all, the light and space the renovation and addition have
given us. I'm so proud of the house, I have volunteered for the
Tempe home and garden tour this spring. You really helped us
capture the warmth and simplicity of the Arts and Crafts/Mission
era of the early 1900's, while allowing us our 21st century
conveniences.
I hope a kitchen renovation will follow in the next year or
two, and of course you will be the first contractor we call for a
bid. We appreciate your kindness, your ability to organize your
subs to have the job go as quickly as possible, and the way you
stayed on top of the work; and, as well, the way you responded to
correct anything we weren't totally happy with.
I have continued to recommend you to anyone who asks if "we
know anyone who..." and hope to have you back on the job sooner
or later.

Now that the dust has settled and we are enjoying the full-width
covered patio addition to
the rear of our house, I wanted to take a few moments to express
my appreciation for a job well done. All of our friends who have
seen the new addition comment on how great it looks. I love just
standing in the middle of it. It has a great architectural feel
to it. Your design and craftsmanship of construction has resulted
in something that we are proud of and will enjoy for years to
come.
You were
both professional and pleasant to work with. You did everything
that you said you would do, and you did it when you said you
would do it. The sub-contractors (framers, roofers, and
drywallers) that you used completed their tasks with great
skill.

We went to A.A.Q.C. with
our room addition project
in the Spring. After talking at our home, we felt 'right' about
working together. We then began planning for the addition. The
timing we arrived at was met very closely. After getting drawings
finalized in May, we launched the project in June. We planned on
a four week approval cycle with the city based on your input, and
that was met. After that, the construction project was started
and was very much on schedule. Project done, on time, on budget.
And no surprises along the way. You worked with us during the
entire time, providing us with options which we took advantage
of. The workmanship of all the trades people you contracted with
was excellent. You also were there to 'tweak' anything that
needed doing.
Because of the working
relationship we developed over the project, we relied on A.A.Q.C.
for suggestions regarding additional aspects of the project which
we knew we needed done (in particular painting and tiling work).
The contractors you recommended also were true professionals who
were timely in completion of their work.
We will gladly work with you in any future projects we have
and would recommend you to others readily.

We just wanted to drop you a
line to once again thank you for the fine work on our recent
additions [ one and two]. We’ve been
living with them now for a whole season and are convinced that we
made the right decision - which was to hire you as our contractor
and to listen to you and your suggestions.
From Day One, our project became your project. You listened to
our ideas and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the
various options. Your brainstorming resulted in the design that
answered all of our problems. You understood our budget and
worked within the constraints to come up with a workable plan
that has received numerous complements.
You were always on time and your subs were top-notch. As you
know, I have used some of them in follow-up jobs and they
remained professional contacts (whether you were involved or not)
and I would not hesitate to use them again. The job sites were
kept clean without exception.
I also appreciate the prompt follow-up you provided when
storms resulted in possible damage that ultimately was not
related to your work. You fixed the problem the day after the
call and clarified what happened and why.

My wife and I are very happy
with the gazebo you built over our Jacuzzi
in our back yard. It was quite a project, as it's very large and
it's built so well that we don't worry about storms blowing it
over or apart. We have gotten many compliments on the design of
the gazebo and we appreciate that you designed the gazebo for us,
as it's like no other that we've ever seen.
You not only completed the job in a timely manner, but you
cleaned up all the debris before you left and took it away with
you. You were reliable, dependable and trustworthy and definitely
made sure we were happy with your work before leaving at the end
of the job. We are also very pleased that you matched the paint
on the gazebo to the house trim, making the gazebo look like it's
been there for as long as the house has been built.
You were also very helpful in helping us submit the plans to
our Homeowner's Association for approval. Your help made
everything seem so much easier.
We had gotten several estimates from other contractors, but we
did not feel comfortable with them doing the work for us. We are
so glad we made our decision to have you do it. Please feel free
to use us as a referral customer should you desire to do so.

did setting all the doors throughout the house, constructing the
closet arrangements, and all the trim in our new home. You set an

We wanted to write and thank you once again for the excellent
work you did on our remodeling projects.
We are thrilled with the tile work in the guest bath. The old,
cultured marble tub surround had become so permanently etched and
stained that we were embarrassed to have guests use that
bathroom. We've had several house guests since the new tile work
was done and they have all complimented us on how beautiful it
is. We now have a bathroom we are proud to have our guests use.
And what a difference the cabinets make in the laundry room!
The finishing work you did in there far surpassed our
expectations.
We definitely made the right choice when we selected you and
your company to do this work for us. We had heard so many horror
stories from friends and associates about their experiences with
remodeling that we were bracing ourselves for a real nightmare.
Instead, we found a contractor who shower up on time, every time,
who was downright fanatical about ensuring that all the
sub-contractors had done their jobs correctly and on time, and
who was dedicated to ensuring not just good, but outstanding
professional results, with the least disruption for the
homeowner. Your attention to detail, your responsiveness to our
requests and your patience with our many questions were also
sincerely appreciated.
It was a pleasure to do business with a dedicated professional
like yourself who truly values his reputation for quality work.
