This used to be a simple
car port between
the truck and the tree (if you can see the window). The truck is under
the new car port. We removed the original exterior brick wall and
poured
a new slab to match the inside floor with new footings for the new
exterior
brick walls. Then we doubled the kitchen in size and added a new car
port.
The original posts have been changed to 6x6 rough sawn treated lumber,
the kitchen now extends to what used to be the car port, and the
brickwork
was done with the bricks that were removed to ensure an exact match to
the old ones.
